🎃 It’s time for Alluvium Association’s Great Pumpkin Contest! 🎃

Unleash your inner artist and transform your pumpkin into a masterpiece! This isn't your average jack-o'-lantern contest – Spooky, silly, sparkly, or sophisticated - the choice is yours!

• Who can join? Everyone! Any Alluvium family, solo artists, or kids- the more the merrier!

• The Challenge: Carving, painting, gluing, bedazzling - Decorate anyway you choose! 

• Theme: Funny, scary, boo-tiful, unique – we want to see it all!

How to Enter

   1. Take a clear picture of your amazing pumpkin creation.

   2. Email your photo by October 26th to: AlluviumAssoc@gmail.com.

   3. Don't forget to include your name and address in the email!

Will you “squash” the competition? It’ll be a virtual pumpkin parade on social media and the Alluvium community will vote for their favorite creations!

Spread the word, grab your pumpkins, and get decorating! Glittery, glam, goofy, or grotesque - We can't wait to see which pumpkin is voted best! 🏆

Voorhees Township's Harvest Festival is on Saturday, October 17, 2026. Join us at 2400 Voorhees Town Center, Voorhees, NJ 08043, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM for a day full of fun.

Admission and parking are both FREE, making it perfect for the whole family. Enjoy activities like the Pumpkin Patch, hayrides, kids' activities, a live band, pumpkin decorating, a Petting Zoo, bounce houses, Dooney's Courtyard Pub, Voorhees sports demonstrations and registration station, a DJ, and a focus on Fire Prevention. You’ve made the decision to live in Alluvium and we couldn’t be happier! From our beautifully landscaped entrances to our family friendly neighborhood events we think you’ll be pleasantly surprised with the feeling of community our development has to offer.

Alluvium has always been a diverse, inclusive community where quality of life is paramount. In an effort to maintain neighborhood appeal and organize neighborhood initiatives, a group of volunteers formed the “Alluvium Association”. Over the last 50 years our association has grown into a multi-faceted, volunteer driven, service organization dedicated to preserving property values and fostering a sense of community.

We do not have a traditional HOA with high monthly dues that enforces paint colors or plantings, but we do rely on the goodwill of our residents to pay their $80 per year to keep our neighborhood attractive and entertaining. This approach has been a tradition in Alluvium and benefits every household here. Annual membership contributions are collected each spring by check, Venmo, or PayPal.

With the support we receive from our 614 residents the association utilizes those contributions in a variety of ways. We maintain Alluvium’s signage; keep our entrances inviting and attractive with landscaping, irrigation, & lighting; publish a bi-annual newsletter, host development wide activities and seasonal contests; coordinate resident communication; represent the best interest of our fellow neighbors with Voorhees Township and other organizations; arrange social gatherings; and much more!
