Since I’m in the New & Used Office Furniture business and my wife Barb sells Homes in Alluvium, I am happy to see that both categories made the list. Most of the other items on the list can be found at the Annual Alluvium Yard Sale that takes place in April of each year. Enjoy….

Thinking about adding adding a deck, gazebo, pool, hot tub, shed, basketball court, patio or fence this year?
Better check with the Voorhees Zoning Office first.
Permits are required for these projects. You may think your getting away with it but if you don't get a permit and you go to sell your home your little project could become your worst nightmare. All Real Estate transactions require a property survey and any changes made without a permit will become an issue that can delay settlement.
The Zoning Office is open Mon-Fri 8:00-5:00pm. (856)429-0647

It is the homeowner's responsibility to make sure the sidewalks on their property are clear at all times. This is especially true during the winter. We all know we've had a very unusual winter this year with more snow than ever before. However, it is still our responsibility to clear the sidewalks of that snow. Most area townships actually fine residents who have not done so. I'm not sure why Voorhees does not, but they should. Our neighborhood is filled with children who either walk to school, or walk to a bus stop. Why should they have to walk in the street simply because someone couldn't be bothered to clear their sidewalk? I live on a corner lot and have a huge sidewalk to clear. I am a single mom and don't own a snow blower, yet I manage to get the sidewalk clear by the next school day. Why can't everyone else pitch in an do their part. Children should not have to walk in the street in our neighborhoods!
I was inspired and went out and cleared my sidewalk today. Thanks Marshallpa.
